Environmental Permitting Meetings
In 2018, BAFPAA members created an Environmental Permitting Committee, which meets quarterly. Most member counties have participated in information sharing and the monitoring of regulations and their implementation. The committee meets at different locations and shares information on specific projects.
Quarterly Regulatory Meetings
BAFPAA members from the north, south, east, and west regions have been meeting quarterly with the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board. The results of these meetings have been collaborative training and a deeper understanding of collective goals and requirements. At the training, other regulatory agencies have also been engaged, and BAFPAA intends to reach out more regularly to other agencies in 2020 and beyond.
